Dickens cast announced

We’re delighted to announce the cast for our two Christmas Productions, A Christmas Carol and Dickens’ Ghosts, which will run at the Playhouse, Cheltenham, between 16th December and 3rd January.

Anne-Marie Piazza, who was in the casts of both The Snow Spider and A Well Remembered Voice, will be returning to Io Theatre Company in an ensemble with Gemma Clough, Thomas Heard and Oliver Hoare. The ensemble for A Christmas Carol will be boosted by three teams of local children.

Alongside director and composer Delyth Jones and James Lark, the creative team will include the designer and lighting designer from The Snow Spider and A Well Remembered Voice, Florence Hazard and Sherry Coenen. Andrew Holloway, who performed in last year’s tour of The Snow Spider, is joining the production team as associate director.

Tickets for both shows are available from the Playhouse box office on 01242 522852.

Anyone available for the dates of the production (16th to 31st December 2014 including some daytime performances) and interested in auditioning should contact the Associate Director, Andy Holloway, at andy@iotheatrecompany.co.uk.
