Delyth Jones: adapter and director
Artistic Director of Io Theatre Company, Delyth studied English at Cambridge University, graduating in 2003. She has directed five shows for Io Theatre Company. She is also a successful freelance director – recent productions include I’ll Show You Mine (Time Out Critics Choice) at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre and Dark Matters. Delyth has worked extensively as an associate and assistant director in London and regionally.
James Lark: adapter, composer and musical director :
James has written, composed and directed the music for three shows for Io Theatre Company. Other projects include music for the Songmakers’ Almanac A Night in Venice at the Wigmore Hall, and a setting of new words by Andrew Motion for Bush Theatre’s 66 Books, a high-profile collaboration with Westminster Abbey. James is Director of Music at Westminster Abbey Choir School.
Shona Morris: movement director
Shona trained at Lecoq School in Paris, graduating in 1978. International work includes working as Movement Consultant at the Stratford Festival Theatre in Canada on their 2012 Season 07. Recent work includes: Twelfth Night (Chichester Festival Theatre) and Our Father by Charlotte Keatley for Watford Palace Theatre. She is currently Head of Acting at the Drama Centre London.
Florence Hazard: designer
Florence studied Theatre Design at Rose Bruford College, graduating with a first class degree. Since graduating she has designed shows for Io Theatre Company (The Snow Spider), Theatre Melange (Echo Burnham), Immediate Theatre (A Letter to Lacey) and Face Front Inclusive Theatre (Zap!) as well as working extensively as a model maker across theatre, opera and advertising.
Sherry Coenen: Lighting Designer
Sherry has been lighting shows in the US and UK since graduating with a BFA in Lighting Design from the University of Miami in 2003. Shows include:Skin Tight (Park90), Conquest of the South Pole (Arcola), Moby-Dick (Arcola), After the Rainfall (UK Tour), ENTER (Embassy Theatre), The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (Arcola), Your Last Breath (UK Tour), Anton Chekhov (Hampstead Theatre), Frobisher’s Gold (Shaw), Mysterious Skin (The Drill Hall), Othello(Chelsea Theatre), Bernarda Alba (Union), Where the Flowers Grow (Warehouse Theatre), The Shakespeare Conspiracy (Chelsea Theatre).
Ria Samartzi: Production Manager
Ria Samartzi is a freelance production and stage manager. Recent work includes the reading of Tree of Seeds by Kayhan Irani at RichMix and The Actor’s Centre and HOBO Theatre’s site-specific, promenade production Heaven in Berlin in Testbed 1 in Battersea. She has previously worked with London International Festival of Theatre and performance artist Bryony Kimmings and has been a long term collaborator of Trikhon Theatre Company throughout the development of their piece A Dream from a Bombshell. She graduated from East 15 Acting School in 2010.
